Endless Grooves is an Adelaide based party collective established to represent the very best in soulful underground dance music. It is the brainchild of the same people who brought you the highly the successful monthly DISCO Is Not A Dirty Word parties, as well as pop-ups Electric Avenue and Disco Paradiso.
Launching over the June long weekend, this is the first in a series of parties showcasing some of the best touring acts on offer in a collaboration with Crown Ruler and Sugar Nightclub. With an emphasis on quality over quantity, the parties are set to run monthly, hosting new guest DJs each night.
Crown Ruler, an Adelaide established, now Melbourne based booking agent, are responsible for the likes of local club night Mixed Tape as well as national Freedom Time music festivals. With bookings coming directly through this collaboration, we can look forward to seeing a host of big name acts coming to Adelaide via dedicated Australian tours and festival side-shows who would otherwise ordinarily pass us by.
Sugar, a regular stop for some of the world’s top DJs and producers, has offered to host the night. The venue has recently been equipped with a brand new fully analogue rotary mixer handmade by local gurus Condesa Electronics paired with a world class Funktion-One sound system that is unlike anything you have heard in any club in Adelaide.
Hot on the heels of their Vivid Festival Sydney appearances both Frank Booker & DJ JNETT are the guests for the night. Hailing from New Zealand and Melbourne respectively, these talented selectors have established a reputation for captivating dance floors both locally and abroad. JNETT has been an integral fixture in the Melbourne club scene since the early 90s, with her collection spanning Funk, Soul, Disco, Dub, Reggae, Hip-Hop and Deep House. Booker has achieved global notoriety for incredible edits and amazing DJ sets, with music from a wide array of quality dance music genres from deepest Disco, to 80s Boogie, edits and cutting-edge House.
Programming will have a firm focus on the dancers with local mainstays Fantastic Black Plastic and Akeem supporting the evening’s proceedings.
