Groundfloor's Anzac Day debut was off to a Boom with residents Lonely D and Satoshi rolling through to share some records from their collections. Men who have been digging and curating their taste both here in Adelaide and during overseas stints in the musical shrubbery known as Europe, we are again welcoming some fresh faces into the Groundfloor family and finding out what these dudes are about. Playing back to back sets, enjoy an array of bumpin' house and soulful cuts from Dave (Lonely D) with nodes of deep jazz influence and gorgeous new age lo-fi-esc sample house. Expect much the same from Yani (Satoshi) who also follows with an enjoyable injection of disco/edit vibes to boot. If anyones seen Cinthie's boiler room in Berlin, I'm hearing that. Pushing those organic house flavours. A pleasure.
